  Using a spreadsheet specially designed for the purpose (which automatically becomes the property of the client afterwards), the risks are assessed in terms of the likelihood of them happening, and impact on the project. Exposure is calculated and the risks categorized.
• Response development
  A range of suitable responses to risk identification are devised, cost-ed and justified. Risk owners are assigned and the project risk register is completed.
