Recently the issue of professional certification has become a major requirement within staff professional development programmes. Together with partner universities, Fistral has developed a programme of project management courses that delivers an internationally recognised professional qualification: the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

The CAPM is internationally recognised and valued as the introductory credential and can lead to the Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate which is required for professional Project Managers worldwide. 100% of delegates who have attended our series of courses have passed the CAPM exam. 

All participants who have graduated from the CAPM programme testify that they demonstrate increased effectiveness and efficiency immediately in their current role in addition to improved morale and self-confidence gained from a professional accreditation. Whilst students additionally comment that they get more interviews and job offers if they include the CAPM accreditation on their CV.

The Fistral CAPM Programme

The Fistral CAPM Programme is comprised of the following courses. Each is led by a highly experienced Project Manager and Risk Consultant who can draw on years of practical experience. Activities will be interactive and utilise ‘real world’ exercises. Interprofessional, work-based examples will be used throughout. Practical case studies engage candidates and provide the opportunity for reinforcement of learning and reflection on practice.

All Fistral facilitators are accredited at PMP level by the PMI and remain actively engaged in managing projects.
