4.74 from the UK’s professional Association for Research Managers and Administrators

At the end of January, research administrators and managers from ARMA – the UK’s professional association – rated our Research Project Management 4.74 out of 5 (5 being excellent), based on format, delivery, content, material, delegate pack and timings and structure.

The course was particularly helpful for research managers, academics managing the project and/or PIs, however research administrators said that:

  • “some topics covered would be out of administrators control but this session can help understanding.”, and that it
  • “has given me food for thought perhaps to try and influence academics to be a bit more thoughtful in drawing up bids and planning their projects.”

Other comments included:

  • “Will definitely help my post award admin role.”
  • “Was expecting it to be a bit dry but was very pleasantly surprised and will use tools in other aspects of my life.”
  • “It was refreshing not to be sitting looking at PowerPoint slides!”
  • “Provides tools to address an approach to work.”
