BME ECRs – Building Resilience is “A very helpful session”

A group of ECR staff and PhD students logged on to Fistral’s Building Resilience webinar, a follow-on skills training session held after the 5th BME ECR Conference held by the Open University and the University of West London and supported by King’s College London.

Fistral was delighted once more to support the BME ECR conference and provide the follow-on skills training to participants across the whole of the UK and abroad. In this webinar participants learnt how they can prepare for and better navigate the ups and downs of their careers and how to develop a mindset for success.

The researchers gave the session an overall feedback rating of 4.50 out of 5 (5 being Excellent). They agreed 100% that they:

  • Would recommend this session to a colleague
  • Learnt new tools and techniques
  • Will put the learning into practice on return to desk/lab
  • Would attend more Fistral webinars

Comments from the group included:

  • “That was excellent”
  • “Really enjoyed both sessions”
  • “A very helpful session”
