Fistral Webinars
Building on the concept of our Espresso (bite-sized video) range, Fistral also offer a variety of 2-hour live webinars. We call this our “Americano” range as they are a ‘shot’ of learning topped up with more time to interact with the content and trainer, and provide an opportunity to engage more deeply with the topic and ask questions relevant to individual needs. Still packing the same punch as an Espresso, this range allows more time to be given to topics and provides options during the learning for Q&A with the trainer. Fistral Americano sessions can engage more with attendees and be more responsive to participant needs and questions.
This page will be updated over the next weeks and months with new webinar topics so please check back on Contact Us!
The Fistral “Americano” Range – c2hr Live Webinars
Fistral webinars provide learning across our whole Product Suite. Each 2-hour “Americano” session can be easily contextualised for a specific group (e.g staff groups, departments, teams, researchers, support staff) as needed; and webinars can be run together in a ‘series’ to provide a programme of related topics. In addition to the topics categorised under our Product Suites, we have a variety of webinars aimed at PhD and PGRs – see below.
Questions can be asked via chatroom, and depending on the topic, tools available, learning styles, and ‘tech’ comfort-zone of the participants, the webinar experience can be more or less interactive as required. Webinars are booked and scheduled for a specific time and date as per a normal training sessions, and can be hosted by Fistral (e.g. using Zoom or similar) or hosted on a customer’s VLE/MLE/preferred platform.
As with all our sessions, tried-and-tested principles and practical tools and techniques are delivered by expert practitioners who share their experience and good practice of what ‘works’ in academia and industry.
