Researchers at the University of Dundee attended part three of our ‘Introduction to Project Planning’ series. Called ‘Creating the Plan’, it builds on the previous sessions and looks at how to identify the tasks required and appropriate resource planning.
The group gave a fantastic overall feedback score of 5.0 out of 5 (5 being Excellent). We asked the group which part of the webinar they found to be most beneficial and why. Answers included:
- “How to calculate 3-point estimation, how to sequence tasks in a network diagram, how to create a proper Gantt chart”
- “All, as it will help improve my risk assessment skill”
- “The 3-point estimate, network diagram and the Gantt chart explanation. I can actually apply these tools for my day to day planning”
Other comments included “Most useful workshop I’ve been to, highly recommend anyone undertaking a project attends” and “keep doing these training courses and encourage young researchers to do them.”
