We had an incredibly international group of attendees on our ‘Keeping on Top of Your PhD or Research: Personal Time Management Strategies’ webinar, with participants logging in from Riyadh, India, Beijing, New Orleans, Taiyuan, Greece and Dubai! The group, from the University of Strathclyde, gave some great feedback on some of the tools and techniques learnt that they will now use including:
- “Use a mind-map to-do list”
- “Baby steps on completing tasks”
- “I hope to start eating my ‘frogs’ from tomorrow”
The session rated 4.5 out of 5, and other great feedback included:
- “Your lecture was very inspiring”
Comments regarding the benefits of using some of the techniques included:
- “It feels more approachable/less daunting”
- “Helps to recognise short-term and long-term tasks”
- “Visualisation of what I want to do”
- “Self-management”
The attendees also unanimously agreed that they would recommend this session to a colleague, and that they would attend more Fistral webinars, and as such we hope to see them again very soon, wherever they may be in the world.
