Managing Risk is core to the work of the AFRC (Advanced Forming Research Centre) – part of the UK High Value Manufacturing (HVM) Catapult that works closely with Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Timet, Barnes Group Inc, and Aubert & Duval. The AFRC is “a collaborative venture between the University of Strathclyde, Scottish Enterprise, the UK Government and leading multinational engineering firms… [its’] £35million facility focuses on developing forming and forging technologies to support the development of high integrity components.”
As such, the tailored Project Risk Management course held with them last week hit the mark, rating 4.73 overall out of 5 (5 being excellent). This is also the next step for some participants who plan to sit their professional project management certification (CAPM) with the PMI later this year.
Top 3 comments fromt he course were:
- “All good, makes a dry subject interesting.”
- “Good course, covered all expected topics.”
- “As with previous course, an excellently executed introductory course to the topic.”
Looking forward to seeing some of you on the CAPM preparation Day!
