Dr Paul Lyden has been managing projects and successfully delivering project management training courses in most European countries, USA and the Middle East for over 25 years. Paul has extensive experience in managing projects in the private and public sectors, including for many universities. He specialises in project risk management and the application of analytical techniques in project management.
Paul completed his PhD in Natural Philosophy (Physics) from the University of Aberdeen and went on to spend 13 years in the computer industry before establishing Fistral Training and Consultancy in 1991. Paul has retained his life-long interest in science, particularly Physics and Geophysics and is an ambassador for STEMNET to help create “opportunities to inspire young people in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics”.
In addition to his role as a Fistral Director, Paul uses his retirement time to be more involved in theatre, curling, and enjoys an active interest in travel.
