Pauline Donachy
Customer Relationship Manager
Pauline is a highly experienced project and programme manager who has run commercial, academic and European-funded projects in the UK and abroad. Having completed an MA (Hons) from the University of Glasgow, she then went on to achieve an M.Phil (distinction) from Stirling University and a PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification, before working for private and public sector organisations in the UK and internationally. She is currently studying for PMP certification from the PMI. In addition to her management experience, Pauline brings an in-depth knowledge of the HEI sector, developing training programmes, experience in online, blended and distance-learning approaches, and experience running commercial and business units within various Scottish universities.
Joining the team in 2010, Pauline’s role at Fistral is to ensure that all customers are well supported: from scheduling courses to marketing and developing Fistral provision. She has successfully run the contracts for some of our largest customers including the European Space Agency and runs the team to support the account management which includes a finance officer and communications and events support. She regularly attends the Vitae Researcher Development International Conference and the Staff Development Forum Conference for staff and organisational developers in the HE sector, and is annually invited to present at the BME ECR conference in London.
Pauline has also been responsible for many consultancy projects including: delivering a post-project evaluation work package for a multi-national EU-funded research project; has driven the development of a plan for implementing a portfolio maturity model for a large public-sector organisation; and managed development of a Training Programme to support the implementation of a bespoke research-based Project Management methodology for the Hutton Group.
