“Useful in context of PhD” – CDT webinar feedback

We enjoyed delivering an on-site training session at the University of Manchester, iCAT Centre for Doctoral Training entitled Project Management in the Real World. The students gave the session an overall rating of 4.69 out of 5 (5 being Excellent).

We asked what they’d tell a colleague who asks about the training:

  • “Useful, especially in the context of planning a PhD project and relationships with supervisors/management.”
  • “Worthwhile.”
  • “It was worth the time invested.”
  • “Many interesting techniques, though I learnt better through practical activities.”
  • “Expert teaching, difficult concepts are broken down and made manageable. These are then applied to real examples which are very helpful.”
  • “A lot of useful things that are worth thinking and talking about. Seems like all bases of project management are covered.”
